This Robin set up a nest just outside our home.  I took these pictures through the bathroom window. The little ones just sit there with their mouths WIDE open, blind, waiting for food to drop from the sky.  They look like tulips!

Momma bird gets a little upset when we walk out the back door, but she yells at us less and doesn't fly as far away anymore.  She came back to feed them while we were watching from inside.  

What I liked about this picture most was all the different positions of the birds' wings as they zoomed past the pier.

Forget about the cold...on a business trip in Florida I got up and saw the sunrise, along with a few birds.

This little slug was making tracks with several others in the sun on our front lawn last Spring.  I got down on the ground to see things from their point of view, and to see their faces. You'll notice that I have a thing for insect faces, as for other creatures.  I just love the sun and the translucent face, and the way its coloring matches the surroundings.  It looks so friendly, even though so foreign.
